Ikani Zakari is a man who has being into the management of the educational sector for over thirty (30) years. He was a classroom teacher in Depot Nigeria Army Nursery /Pry. School, Zaria from 1981 to 1982. He held various positions before becoming a lecturer in Federal College of Education, Zaria, where he lectured from 1991 to 1993.
Afterward, he was the principal of Mustafa Comprehensive School, Kontagora. This responsibility and position he held from 1994 until July 2014.
Owing to his educational qualification and experience, he lectured in various higher institutions. He is a member of various professional associations such as Nigerian Institute of Management(NIM), ANCOPSS, Science Teachers Association and Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International.
As an educationist, he has acquired qualifications and certifications from diverse accredited and world-class institutions such as Highbury College, Portsmouth, UK; University of Calabar, Cross Rivers State, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria(PHE(BED), Sport Management(MSC)), UNICAL(MBA) and lots more. Ikani Zakari is known for his ability to manage human, finance and material resources to achieve organizational goals. He has the ability to work with minimal supervision and thrive under pressure. He is presently the Director General of Sani Bello Foundation. He is married and blessed with children.
